This week it's up to you to decide what you would like to do for your Home-Wow learning. Please make sure that you make the marks and ask your grown-ups to write down what you say.

Dear Children,

What wonderful costumes you wore for World Book Day yesterday. You all looked amazing and it's great that you took time to think about your favourite book character.

Today I have given you a sheet with some stars on it. If I had your Home-Wow Book I have already stuck the sheet inside. Please stick the sheet into your book if I have not done so. On each star there is a reading challenge. I would like you to complete these challenges; tick them off as you do each one. Maybe you could write down where/ how you do each challenge. Remember to keep reading fun!

Happy reading

Dear Nursery children,

Next week we will be talking about another celebration that takes place in a Church, a wedding. This weekend I would like you to talk to your grown-up about their wedding or a wedding that they may have been to. Maybe you have been to a wedding?  Look at photos and talk about what you can see. Who is at the wedding? What is happening in the photos? What are the people wearing? Did they go to a party? Was there a cake? What happened at the party to help the celebrations? Enjoy sharing the photos, maybe you could put some in your Home-Wow book to share with your friends.

Wow I loved reading all of the Home-Wow books, this week. The children did an amazing job. Thank-you adults for scribing. Please remember that we want your child to make the marks. Value any mark they make. I assure you that there will be an explanation, if you ask.  Please also remember that you can talk about any special event that you have been on or any trips that you go on.

This week we have continued learning new nursery rhymes and reinforced some already known. We often hear the children singing around the Nursery, whilst playing.

Can you sing your favourite song? Can you draw a picture showing us what happens?
