Read home reading phonics book everyday. Comprehension focus: inference.

Use Bug Club to complete further reading daily.

Phonics:

Everyday focus on a new sound. Ph , wh , ie, au and i-e.

Handwriting:

20 minutes daily, 5 words from weekly spelling list and 5 common exception words. Rotate weekly spellings words and repeat, choose 5 new common exception words daily. 

Writing:

Lesson 1: Cold write - unsupported writing of a brochure of your choice. (for example; an aquarium, museum, event)

Lesson 2: WAGOLL- What a good one looks like, examine and identify features of a brochure. Highlight elements within the text.

Lesson 3: Create a fact file on many animals found at an aquarium.

Lesson 4: Include the use of compound words to write exclamatory sentences about aquarium animals. 

Maths: 

Lesson1: Adding three 1 digit numbers.

Lesson 2: Solving word problems - the bar model. (1)

Lesson 3: Solving word problems - the bar model (2)

Lesson 4: Revise adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers with exchanging and borrowing.

Lesson 5:Odd and even numbers.

Lesson 1: Properties of materials and their uses. - investigate.

PE: Dance - focus on rhythm and movement.
