8th-11th February

Reading:

Read home reading phonics book everyday. Comprehension focus: inference.

Use Bug Club to complete further daily reading.

 

Phonics:

Everyday focus on a new sound.

 

Handwriting:

20 minutes daily, 5 words from weekly spelling list and 5 common exception words. Rotate weekly spellings words and repeat, choose 5 new common exception words daily. 

 

Writing:

 

Lesson 3: Identifying nouns related to the a beach theme. Link to the senses.

Lesson 4: Writing list sentences using previous collected nouns and adjectives. (beach theme)

 

Maths: 

 

Wednesday: Dividing by 2 - including making links with multiplication. 4x2=8   8 divided by 2 = 4

Thursday: Odd and even numbers through word problems.

 

 

Geography:

LO: how does our food get here? 

 

PE: Gymnastics - linking movements together.

 

RE: the eucharist
