'A very warm welcome to Mount Carmel Catholic School's website. At the heart of Mount Carmel is our very strong Catholic Ethos. We aim for every child to leave here as an ambassador of Christ. Working parallel to this is our drive for high standards. Through creating a supportive and nurturing school, children really have a passion for learning. We hope you feel this from looking around our website.'

Religious Education

As long as you have completed last week’s project, you can now use art at Easter to reflect upon the sacrifice of Jesus and Jesus coming back to life after his death.

Research (using search engine and YouTube documentaries) and revise the events leading up to the Crucifixion and afterwards.

Note down the most significant events.

You could use pencil, charcoal, pastels, collage of coloured paper, paint, crayons and any other ideas you have!

Remember that it needs to be reflective, and inspirational for people who remember Jesus’ sacrifice. Some ideas are depicted on the off grid learning template.

Information about the SBM position, under Key Information>Staff Vacancies. Congratulations to our staff, and the hard work from last years Y6, as due to achievement in Maths, we are currently in the top 2% of the Country. #Encourage, Challenge and Support.#
