Dear Year 6,
We hope that you have enjoyed a great week following the VE Day themed activities of baking, crafting and learning about the history of WWII. It has been lovely to see some of the projects and work that had been completed during that week. What a sunny bank holiday weekend we had!
During lockdown, 6T and 6P have enjoyed hearing from our students, through parents. Seeing projects and work completed, via Class Dojo, as well as hearing how things are going. However there are still some families that we haven't heard from. If parents haven't been in touch via Class Dojo or school email since lockdown, please could parents, reply to a Class Dojo message to the class teacher, or send either 6P or 6T an email via the school office, with a quick note. This would be to let us know that you can access the learning resources as needed, a comment on how things are going if you would like, and including any comments about learning at home. We understand that many families are very busy juggling the complications of being at home full time and don't expect weekly communications, except when needed or, of course if you are participating in the optional weekly work feedback system, conducted via Class Dojo.
We hope that you are all well and you have found a rhythm of life that works for this temporary period of time.
P.S. Mrs Connolly uploaded two helpful videos about long division on Class Dojo, have a look if you'd like to see her guidance on the method. If you are still struggling to use Class Dojo, email in through school to let us know.
P.P.S. Have a great week! We miss you all!
