Thursday 6th October
Well, after a well-rehearsed disco, following the tradition of many years - boys skidding on their knees and girls dancing the cha cha slide - we all woke up to a cracking day. The sun was shining and the children made the most of their last full day. This evening we had a game of ambush followed by packing as we have an early start tomorrow. All I can say is beware on opening those suitcases!

Wednesday 5th October
What a great evening we had last night with marshmallows round the campfire. All the children slept well and were spritely this morning. Another great day of activities with zip wire, a fab beach walk, archery, abseiling and giant swing. Lots of chat about who is dancing with who at the disco tonight though it’s so funny to see them when they get there - they’re too embarrassed to go near each other! Run and Scream
Tuesday 4th October
Great games last night and a generally good night’s sleep. We’ve had a jam-packed day today with Jacob’s ladder and trapeze. We were so impressed with the go-get spirit of the climbers - they’re utterly fearless! Sensory trail was great fun…for the teachers! (Cue evil laugh.) A few muddy little people but back to the showers to freshen up and then off to the tuck shop to load up for the campfire and singalong. All the children have had a fantastic day. Now let’s hope they have a fantastic sleep…
Monday 3rd Oct
Well, we arrived safely and the children are all buzzing at being here. The coach journey went as expected. Two main questions: can I eat my lunch now; and are we nearly there yet. The ferry crossing was the highlight of the day with doughnuts for dessert coming a close second. Check out our happy campers below.
