Throughout the year, our wonderful Penny Alexander has worked with different groups of children across the school to develop a natural dry hedge for our Memorial area, establishing grow patches in the KS1 garden and developing a flower garden using recycled containers.
She led sessions with our Y1 classes on aspects of nature and how we can look after God's beautiful world.
In the Spring Term, our RE Pupil Leaders invited elderly parishioners from our school community to come in to school for a tea party and to have a look around our school. They were delighted to be invited and very touched by the warmth of the children.
In the Autumn Term, the children created their own natural art, to celebrate God's beautiful world. We displayed the artwork in our new Prayer Garden.
