'A very warm welcome to Mount Carmel Catholic School's website. At the heart of Mount Carmel is our very strong Catholic Ethos. We aim for every child to leave here as an ambassador of Christ. Working parallel to this is our drive for high standards. Through creating a supportive and nurturing school, children really have a passion for learning. We hope you feel this from looking around our website.'

Hi Year 3 :)

We hope you've been working hard this week and have had some time to get out and enjoy the sunshine.

We will keep the previous week's content up until Monday and then will remove it from the website to free up space. It may be an idea to print off what you need over the weekend or save it somewhere for reference.

DOJOS: Please send us pictures of pieces of work that you are extremely proud of. Upload them onto Class Dojo and we will have a look. Can't wait to see what you've been getting up to!

Learning at home due to COVID-19

During this time away from school, we expect children to log in to Bug Club twice a week. We will be monitoring Bug Club and updating books as and when they are needed by the children. This is extremely important for comprehension skills.

Bug Club Login: The username is the first four letters of your first name followed by the first four letters of your surname. All letters are lowercase with no spaces.

Timestables, spelling and arithmetic/reasoning tests should still be tested every Friday. Find all tests below and make sure that children check over them and have an adult to go through the test with them once completed.

Please visit the Home Learning page still as we will be putting up the usual home learning expectations every week. You will also find the answers on the home learning page.

The children have been sent home with new books to complete their 'work from home' in. They can write or print out and stick worksheets in here. If you weren't in school to receive a book, please just complete on any spare paper you have at home.
