Ealing Deanery ‘Prayer Across the Border’ prayer session -

11 schools in our Catholic Deanery participate in monthly online prayer sessions, where each school takes it in turn to lead the session. This is an opportunity for our pupils to take a few minutes at the start of their day to pray in a community collective worship.

December 2025- Liturgical Dance and Music for Prayers Across the Borders 

Following the implementation of the Prayer and Liturgy directory (Sept 25), each Deanery school will be taking turns to share a different prayer form. Mount Carmel shared liturgical music and dance. We showed everyone how to pray for peace, during the sign of peace, by singing Shalom using sign language. We also showed some examples of liturgical dance to our favourite hymns and in response to Scripture.

Building the Kingdom Oracy Project - July 2023

Some of our great speakers visited Ealing Abbey to speak to a select group of schools and Church leaders about the Catholic Social Teaching themes, the Common Good and Solidarity as well as their thoughts on the future of the Church is a speech entitled 'I Am Church'. Our speakers really rose to the challenge and spoke from the heart about these important themes of our time. 

Dojo Winners King's Coronation Workshop - June 2023

For our overall house winners' reward, the pupils in Matthew house got to spend an afternoon learning about the coronation and creating a dance.
